Mia Advisor Announcement: Kat Randel

We are thrilled to announce that Kat Randel has joined our team as an Advisor and Chief Partnership Officer to help us grow Mia and unlock economic opportunities for women in AI.

Meet Katherine "Kat" Randel, a dynamic leader and visionary with a strong commitment to strategic leadership and inclusive growth.

Notable among a diverse portfolio of projects, Kat spent several years at the World Economic Forum, where she helped to launch the WEF's Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in San Francisco. She has also worked with the Council for Inclusive Capitalism, Purpose, LLC, and WNYC, and is a Producer on numerous film projects as well as an advisor for several startups.

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Kat co-founded Ascent Leadership Networks, is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Pop Venture, and is the founder of Ask Kat. She steers strategic initiatives and helps create impactful platforms.

Kat believes that “leadership is like the moon; it drives the tide.” She is a proud mom and wife, only taking on projects that ignite her passion, resonate with her values, and spark joy.

I believe that Mia has a unique opportunity to help bring solutions to the uncertainty by giving women the permission to be equal architects of our future.

Seeing people’s potential. A person’s light is brightest if you give them the opportunity to shine.

It’s a good thing to change your mind. Nothing is set in stone, especially when it comes to your career.
